With almost 10 years’ professional experience in financial control and business planning, James has expertise in providing VBA and MS Excel-based solutions for organisations requiring streamlining and automation of their administrative and financial processes. Often this involves data warehousing, data extraction and manipulation exercises, enabling better decision-making by senior management.
He has recently developed and brought to market FD4Cast, his own industrial-strength forecasting and budgeting software for SMEs, accountants and analysts.

Extensive Excel, VBA and SQL skills were required to develop the software and its integration hotlinks to accounts packages such as Access Dimensions, Sage, etc. In addition, James drew on his intimate knowledge of management accounts preparation and reporting to deliver an essentially ‘pre-audited’ solution for the target market.
Having been evaluated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), FD4Cast has been granted membership of the prestigious ICAEW Accredited Software Scheme. It is currently the only financial modelling software approved by the professional body, which represents almost 135,000 members worldwide.
